Hi everyone, I have been boarding for about 6 years I would consider me as an advance board and so I know that I am regular footed when it come to my snowboard stances. My question is how do you determine how far back or how far forward your bindings should be a part and also how do I determine the degrees the bindings should be out for max comfort?

because i try to ride switch a lot, i don't use any setback; i.e. i keep my bindings centered on my deck instead of having them a bit farther back on the deck. in contrast, most people want some setback in order to ride powder better. if you have more setback, then the front part of your board is longer and can keep you afloat better on powder.

also because i like to ride switch a lot, i have a duck stance. something like 8~15 degrees out on each foot. most people probably have more like a 15 degree forward angle on their front foot and a 0~15 degree forward angle on their back foot, right?

also, i don't know how others feel about this, but i have a pretty wide stance. i like to feel a little wider and lower to the ground. i once measured my stance, but i forget the width.
