KW & Mammoth Mtn, deepest bases in The USA !!!

Once again Kirkwood and Mammoth have 2 of the deepset bases in the US w 5-7.5ft bases... the only area's w/ bases that come close are Silverton and Wolf mtn (both in south colorado) and Mt Baker (always teh deepest in the west) & Alpental both in Wa ... Damn have we got it good !! do we need more snow ...Hell yeah but be thankful w/ what we have ...the rest of the west is a hurtin for certain.... HF

I'm used to a 2' base so anything more is unreal.

Edit: 20cm is more accurate - about 9 inches

You're lucky there's a 12 month warranty of our Aboriginal Snow Dance coz at Whistler they're flying snow in by helicopter. And a pal is testing skis at a conference - and at 12,000ft at Breck, there's millions of rocks poking through. Whistler & Breck should've paid us for an extended warranty :LOL
