now that snowboarding has three events - alpine slalom, halfpipe, and boardercross; what should be the next discipline of snowboarding or snowboarding event in the olympics?

i would say the obvious choice would be... well, either slopestyle or big air, right? otherwise, what else? snurfing? snowskating? well, those aren't really disciplines of snowboarding, just sort of related, side toys, right? how about some kind of long distance backcountry race? then again, i realise it's so hard to get an event into the olympics because you need all these organising committees from different participating countries, etc. however... i think it's possible to get another snowboarding event. there are so many skiing events, right? there are so many skating events, right?

...

oh, i just stumbled upon this article: "is slopestyle snowboarding the next winter olympic sport?" (http://www.grindtv.com/snow/blog/12932/is+slopestyle+snowboarding+the+next+winter+olympic +sport/) on grindtv.com
